Die mediterrane Luft trägt den Duft von Kiefernnadeln und wildem Lavendel. Vögel zwitschern in den Bäumen, und in der Ferne rauscht das Meer. Vor uns erstrecken sich die Überreste einer römischen Villa, einst ein prächtiges Landgut des römischen Adels. Man sieht noch die Reste der einst gewaltigen Mauern, die die Jahrhunderte überstanden haben. Wir wandern weiter und entdecke die Ruinen eines Aquädukts, das einst frisches Wasser in die Villa leitete. Granatapfelbäume tragen rote Blüten, Blumen blühen zwischen den Steinen, Eidechsen huschen über die Mauern, und in der Ferne segeln Boote auf dem azurblauen Meer. Zwei alte Betonbunker stehen inmitten der idyllischen Landschaft. Die Sanitäranlagen sind ok, nicht luxuriös, aber sauber. Wir hatten etwas Pech mit den Nachbarn, Camper die alles besser wussten und uns ungewollt Ihren Rat aufdrückten, ansonsten nur böse geschaut haben und grantig vorbeispaziert sind. Aber brauchen eh keine Kontakte. Ein Camper aus Berchtesgaden, hatte Probleme mit seinen Mover und versperrte die Straße und da dort ein Touristenzug fährt, war das ganze etwas stressig. Aber mit vereinten Kräften, haben wir den Wohnwagen an seinen Platz gebracht. Als Dank brachte er uns vor unserer Abfahrt eine Bibel und wollte mit uns ein Gebet sprechen, das wir aber ablehnten (vor allem ich). Mögen das missionarische nicht, aber er war glücklicherweise dann nicht so aufdringlich, dass wir unhöflich werden mussten. Nach ein paar Minuten, wo er uns seine Verbundenheit mit Jesus erklärte, gab er dann auf. Dafür hatte ich Zeit, die X1 Hover auszuprobieren, eine kleine ActionCam mit Propellern. Die Videos auf dieser Seite und einige Fotos wurden damit gemacht. Freunde von uns sind jetzt unterwegs, derzeit Murter und danach Brac. Haben von vollen Plätzen auf Murter berichtet, wahrscheinlich sollte man auch um diese Zeit bereits reservieren.
